Crisp colours, clean lines and a splash of metal. This Brighton kitchen features a classic design, with on-trend styling that is very current.
The classic L shaped kitchen design includes an island bench that doubles as a breakfast bar, allowing family and friends to join you while at work in the kitchen. White marble wraps the island, even to the floor, with waterfall ends and an 80mm mitred edge. A crisp white palette has been chosen to allow styling accents to shine while maintaining a kitchen that feels hygienic, but not sterile.
Highly polished copper feature lighting focuses attention on the breakfast bar – where people come together. The warm copper tones also bring out the warmer veins of the expansive natural marble bench-top and marry the dining table to the colour scheme.
Clever space expanding ideas have been incorporated into this aspirational kitchen. A window splashback brings the garden indoors, and a butler’s pantry behind allows certain items to be hidden from view as well as providing ample storage space. A neatly integrated dishwasher ensures the clean lines of this kitchen are uninterrupted giving the illusion of space.
The clean lines of this beautiful Brighton kitchen are created by the lack of handles. J groove grips are an in-house speciality. The drawer becomes the handle with this one action drawer pull system.
The fridge and pantry are also integrated. They are so well disguised, I wonder if you spotted them! Either side of the window splashback, you see the fridge and the pantry, again with J groove grips – this time vertically oriented. This clever design camouflage technique is used again with an integrated bin. The door of the bin has been crafted to look like another set of drawers. The only give away is the kick lever in the kickboard to the left of the oven. Opening systems such as this allow you to access the bin hygienically. It is also handy while your hands are full or covered in whatever you’ve just been chopping up.
