The doors you select for your kitchen make a statement about style and function. If you can’t see what you are looking for, ask our designers about a bespoke solution. We’ll help you choose which one suits the kitchen design you prefer best. Here’s a taste of our range.
Smith & Smith have a vast range of laminates from major suppliers to choose from. Laminates are a common choice for kitchen doors because of its durability, price and finish options.
Laminates are easy to keep clean and offer the following design features:
- All laminate doors are flat panel or plain-face doors.
- 3D acrylic edging is available in a limited range of colours. This edging provides a seamless effect where traditional edging has a ‘framed’ effect.
- Matching edging is available in all colours
Solid Timber Doors
Create warmth and hide damage or wear and tear better than laminates. Timber cabinet doors come in a variety of standard Smith & Smith styles. These standard styles become thoroughly customised through choice of timber, paint and finishing. See the gallery below for more details.
- Bolection Mould
- Shaker Style
- Country Style
- Country Style “V” groove
- Smith & Smith Arched
- Smith & Smith Square
- Flat panel (plain)
- Bespoke mouldings as per client requirements
Many bespoke doors that require careful engineering have been also been produced by the team at Smith & Smith. Our designers have worked with clients who have a specific idea in mind to see it realised.
Timber Veneer Doors
Timber veneer is simply a thin layer of natural timber. This is affixed to high performance particleboard or MDF. Timber veneer doors can only be manufactured in plain or flat-panel. Timber veneer retains the natural lustre of wood, a trait that is lost in imitations.
Painted/Two-Pack Polyurethane Doors
Painted doors can be crafted in the same variety of styles as solid timber doors. Smith & Smith use the vast Dulux colour range to ensure you get the look you’re after. Our experienced spray painters offer the following effects:
- High Gloss
- Visible timber grain (the embossed effect of natural timber is retained through an opaque coating)
As the kitchen has come out of its own room and into communal territory, it has become common for display cabinets and internally lit shelving with stylish doors to grace the kitchen. Showcase your favourite items behind bespoke kitchen doors finished to your specifications. Glazing bars can be crafted according to our client’s needs. See the gallery below for some of the designs we have created for past clients.
- Glazed centre panel
- Colonial glazing bars
- Bespoke glazing bars
